We had been once before and were more than impressed so we pre-booked Sunday lunch with family and friends to showcase La Banq and we were in no way disappointed. We were greeted warmly and shown to our table. The drinks order was quickly dispatched and very soon after, starters, we took some time to choose because of the choices but we were soon tucking in to mixed mezze, scallops, halloumi and Turkish sausage, all tasted fantastic as we tried each others starters. The mixed mezze and bread was delicious and recommended. Main courses followed; steaks were the best, leagues ahead of M&C and Prime, can't recall the other dishes but as with starters we shared and agreed they were superb. Sadly we had no room for puds but had some any way, family made cheese cake and bread and butter pudding were fantastic. Needless to say these were washed down with some fantastic Turkish red wine and numerous cocktails, all in all we all agreed that this was one of the best experiences we had at any restaurant in the area. Really nice ambience
Waiters were really friendly.
Food was expensive 😩
Mixed starter for 2 was very disappointing, probably enough for one person.
